Achieving Excellent Visibility by 3.2-inch Large Screen and Comfort by Single-handed Operation

1. Superb visibility benefitted by large screen and excellent operability achieved
Adopting a 3.2-inch WVGA screen achieves the most suitable balance for the center of gravity between the screen and keys while improving visibility, which enables comfortable single-hand operation. WVGA screen can display high-resolution images and 5 times as much information as that of QVGA at a time, improving the efficiency of the work of checking a list of photos or several items on the screen, such as order and inventory management at stores. Furthermore, since the characters on the screen are distinct even in bright sunlight, BHT-1400 series is also suitable for outdoor operations.

2. Wireless LAN operation possible
BHT-1400 series can be used for operations in which the central server collects data, such as stock quantities read by handy terminals at several retail stores and movement of products from orders by customers to manufacturing processes and shipment in the manufacturing industry, through wireless LAN, the Internet and the browser.

3. Long-time operations for 30 hours or more possible even with continuous wireless connection
Even when the wireless function is always enabled, continuous operation of 30 hours for the barcode model and 32 hours for the 2D code model is possible. Users can use the product for the whole day, while maintaining stress-free continuous wireless connection, not requiring a troublesome re-connection procedure.

4. Durable body with IP 65 rating*3 and 2-meter drop impact resistance
BHT-1400 series has an IP 65 rating and is sufficiently durable to resist drops on concrete floors from a height of 2 meters, and thus can be relied upon to perform well even in the harshest of operational environments, including semi-outdoor places where handy terminals are exposed to rain and sand and plants and warehouses with concrete floors, where handy terminals can be greatly impacted should they be dropped.

5. Excellent reading capability
BHT-1400 series has excellent reading capability, enabling high-speed reading of QR Code®*4 and other 2D codes and barcodes, poorly printed 2D codes and barcodes, and ultra-small 2D codes with a cell size of up to 0.2 millimeters.

6. Configuration software simplifying parameter setting
By cable-connecting a PC and GT20Q, parameters can be configured from the configuration software on the PC. Changing one of multiple parameters can be easily made according to the use environment anytime and anywhere by distributing printed configuration bar codes using the software in advance.
